GROUND-WATER RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENT
Ground-water supply issues have become increasingly complex. Municipalities and private companies are facing the need to implement costly and complicated management strategies to ensure the most efficient use of existing resources. Well-field protection has been given the force of state and federal mandates. Permits for ground-water withdrawals are harder to obtain and contentious legal battles are fought over water rights considerations.
Over the past five decades, LBG has successfully completed more than 6,000 projects for over 4,000 clients on six continents. Assignments have ranged from municipal and community well-field development and testing to industrial well-field exploration, design, testing and expansion. We have developed and implemented hundreds of aquifer quality, protection and monitoring efforts and have devised and managed artificial recharge programs for some of the most geologically complex aquifers.
