Brad L. Cross

Brad Cross has over 20 years of experience in the field of ground-water and surface-water hydrology, water resources, environmental assessments, and project management. Specifically, Mr. Cross has extensive experience in the permitting of Class I, III, and V injection wells; public water supply well permitting; and contaminant cleanup related to oil and gas activities.
Mr. Cross previously served for 15 years at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and also served as a consultant to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in the development of regulatory guidelines for the Underground Injection Control Program as well as the 1996 Amendments to the Safe Drinking Water Act. Mr. Cross developed and directed Texas' statewide drinking water protection program and provided technical assistance to over 300 communities throughout the state. In cooperation with EPA, he conducted numerous seminars throughout the country for local communities on how to develop ordinances and other best management practices to control nonpoint sources of contamination. He also managed and provided oversight of a joint funding agreement with the U. S. Geological Survey in the development and implementation of a statewide source water assessment and protection program.
