GIS Specialist - LBG-Guyton Associates, Austin, Texas The Austin (Texas) office of LBG-Guyton Associates has an immediate opening for a GIS Specialist. LBG-Guyton Associates is a ground-water and environmental engineering consulting firm with clients in Texas and the Southwest. Candidates should possess a college degree in Earth Sciences, Geography, Programming or other scientific field. Primary responsibilities include: development of cartographic maps for presentations and functional use, relational database development and management, application development and programming, developing ideas for expansion of GIS capabilities. Experience should include familiarity with ESRI ArcGIS products. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, a team player that is willing to learn new technologies and apply specialized GIS knowledge and experience to the water resources and environmental industry.
