Entry and/or Mid-level Hydrogeologist or Environmental Scientist - Ramsey, NJ office Leggette, Brashears & Graham, Inc.’s New Jersey office has an immediate opening for an entry and/or mid-level Hydrogeologist or Environmental Scientist with 0-5 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities of the position include supervision of drilling and remediation contractors, collection of soil and ground-water samples, data collection during pumping tests and data reduction and analysis using computer software.  The successful applicant can expect to work on a wide variety of projects ranging from investigation of contaminated sites to water-supply investigations.  More experienced applicants will have Project Management opportunities. Candidates should have a B.S. or M.S. degree in geology or hydrogeology or related environmental science field and preferably have completed at least one hydrogeology course. The candidate must have strong computer and writing skills. Experience or training in GIS software is a plus. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and show a high level of initiative.  OSHA 40-hour certification is a plus, but not necessary.
